After throat problems forced him to scrap his tour last year, John Mayer returned to the stage in January for a benefit show in Montana that featured him collaborating with several artists. But now, he's booked what's being billed as his first full-length solo concert in three years.
John will perform at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on April 25, ahead of his appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans, scheduled for April 26. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, March 8 via Ticketmaster. Special ticket packages will be available at Tickets-for-Charity.com, benefiting John's favorite charity, NCIRE, which supports returning veterans.
A few days ago, John wrote on his Tumblr blog that his voice seems to be doing fine, and added, "This is getting VERY exciting."
